mr d robin

With deepest sympathy, I need to write here that Mr D Robin passed away at the beginning of July, 2023.
I am sincerely grateful to his wife Katya Robin for agreeing to have his last poem published her as per Damian’s wishes.

Damian Robin lives in Sheffield, it’s green with trees and seasonal style. He lives here with his lovely wife, in a life that makes them smile.

They have three children, ‘all growed up’. He’s shared their lives, their downs and ups. He’s fed their imaginations, kittens, cats, rats, rabbits, gerbils, dogs, and pups.

They, like him, like privacy — like life and work to make things good. They do their best to do what’s right to make things move on as they should.

Damian makes up poetry, his wife makes art, bakes sourdough bread.

They both like balance, organic symmetry, and want to make good nature spread.

Recently he published a pamphlet of poems, Organ Harvest, about the Chinese Communist Party’s attempted genocide of Falun Gong, Uyghurs, and other groups through surgical removal of organs while alive.
