A walk with a camera - Introduction by Eddie

I am a retired Hydrographic Surveyor from Aberdeen in Scotland, who worked in the port industry, charting the depths for safe navigation of vessels. Also former Chairman and Director of Zhen Shan Ren Arts (UK) working on exhibitions in the UK and across Europe. I moved to Spain in 2015 and returned to Scotland on July 2020 I enjoy photography and art. I have 2 children from an earlier marriage, who still live in Scotland and I re-married in 2017. My wife Shiran should take credit for some of these photo too.

My blogs feature photos and videos taken with our Nikon and Sony cameras at slower pace to life in and around Barcelona initially now Stonehaven in Scotland or wherever we travel, hoping these to be of interest to others. Especially now when to lockdown is in many places around the world.

“I like to capture anything as I walk along with an open heart and mind, be it the landscape, wildlife, birds or aspects of human nature or the moon above in the night sky. Each photo for me teaches me how I can do better or opens an idea of another theme to shoot. I hope the results will inspire others”
